The project began with precise excavation and levelling to prepare the area for landscaping and structural support. Our team managed all aspects of earthworks including soil removal, grading and compacting, ensuring a solid and stable foundation.
Once the site was ready, we designed and installed a heavy duty timber sleeper retaining wall, chosen for both its durability and aesthetic appeal. The wall now provides essential soil retention on a sloped section of the garden.
To complete the project, we seeded the slope behind the retaining wall to encourage natural grass growth and prevent erosion and we laid fresh turf over the newly levelled lawn area, we also shaped and compacted the adjacent area to form a level, well-drained base for the new driveway, chippings were added to the surface as the final finishing touch.
